It’s crucial to urge Ryan Mears to take responsibility and press charges against the individual responsible for Terry’s tragic death.

Angela from Fox 59 shared a heart-wrenching interview that truly struck a chord with me. Jodi Christian wrote a poignant letter on what would have been her 34th wedding anniversary, advocating for justice following her husband’s untimely passing.

In April, while Jodi and Terry were tending to their yard in Indianapolis, a driver veered off the road, crashing through their property and a construction sign, resulting in Terry’s death and leaving Jodi critically injured.

Five months have passed since that devastating day, and Jodi has yet to hear from anyone in the city—no police updates, no communication from the prosecutor’s office, and no support from victim advocates. Despite reaching out to multiple officials, her inquiries have gone unanswered. She simply wants to know: why hasn’t the driver who took her husband’s life even received a ticket?

Following our interview, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department informed me that they have handed the case over to the Marion County Prosecutor’s office. This morning, I received a response stating, “This matter is still under review.”

As I mentioned in the interview, witnessing Jodi’s pain is incredibly difficult, but we must not turn a blind eye to her suffering.
