VOTERS BEWARE: Sara Gullion's "Speeding" School Bus Record – Will Her Driving Habits Become Her Voting Record in Indy?

Sara Gullion

Hoosier Enquirer Exclusive – Don't Let This Democrat Primary Candidate Race Past the Truth!

MUNCIE, INDIANA – As Hoosiers gear up for the May 5, 2026 Democratic Primary in Indiana House District 34, one candidate is revving up her campaign: Sara Gullion, the current Muncie City Council member who's stepping up to replace retiring incumbent Sue Errington (who's already endorsed her and even chairs her campaign).

Gullion's platform screams "Real People. Real Needs." She talks transparency, equity, accountability, and putting communities first. But before voters hand her the keys to state lawmaking in Indianapolis, they deserve the full picture – including a troubling slice of her past that hits close to home for any parent or grandparent.

Public records show that in late 2015, Sara Gullion was cited TWICE for one of the most serious traffic violations on Indiana books: passing a stopped school bus with the stop arm extended and red lights flashing in a school zone.

  • November 9, 2015: First infraction – allegedly blowing right past kids' safety signal.

  • December 11, 2015: Second one – just 32 days later! Same dangerous disregard for the big yellow bus that's supposed to protect our most vulnerable.

In Indiana, this isn't a slap-on-the-wrist ticket. It's a Class A infraction – heavy fines, points on your license, potential court mandatory appearance – all because ignoring that stop arm puts children's lives at immediate risk. One careless pass can end in heartbreak. Doing it twice in a month? That's not a mistake; that's a pattern.

Now fast-forward to 2026: Gullion is running unopposed on the Democratic side for HD 34 (covering parts of Delaware County, including Muncie). If she wins the primary and the general in November, she'll be voting on laws that affect education, public safety, transportation, child welfare – you name it.

Voters should ask: If a candidate couldn't consistently follow basic school zone safety rules a decade ago – rules designed to save kids' lives – how seriously will she take the bigger responsibilities in the Statehouse? Will her "voting record" mirror this old driving record: ignoring warnings, repeating risky behavior, endangering the public? Click here to see her driving infractions endangering kids.

These infractions are old news, sure – but in politics, character doesn't expire. Especially when you're asking for trust on issues involving families and children. Transparency means owning the past, not hoping voters forget it.

Hoosier families in District 34: Before you mark that ballot, dig into the full record. A politician's actions behind the wheel can say a lot about how they'll steer policy for the rest of us. Sara Gullion for State Rep? Voters decide – but only with ALL the facts!

Hoosier Enquirer – Shining light on Indiana candidates so you can vote with eyes wide open. Because what happens on the road – or off it – matters when they're making laws for our kids.

Based on public infraction records from November and December 2015. This is a public service reminder ahead of the May 5, 2026 Democratic Primary. Hoosier Enquirer: Accountability starts at home – and at the ballot box.
