Hoosier Enquirer has confirmed the messages first published by The Muncie Post-Democrat: a late-night chat under Matt Kantz’s Telegram account that is not professional, not “misinterpreted,” and not the vibe of two people who have spent seven months pretending the “Amber Kantz” livestream moment was a coincidence.

Greene, mid-flirt: “Still gonna want me when I’m not in my 30s anymore?”

Kantz: “if you’re lucky 😘 … just kidding!!!!!”

Greene, not taking it: “If YOU’RE lucky 😏”

Then the calendar joke — she’s “busy on the 12th,” she’ll be “too close to 40.” He tells her she can dish it but can’t take it. She says she takes it “quite well.” She drops a heart and a photo with “Best ever.” He answers that even a real “no” would just be a challenge. She talks about how much she’s “leveled up” in a year. He says he’s happy to be part of her “journey of self discovery.” She closes it: “Oh I think you’ve enjoyed me discovering you too.”

That is not a constituent follow-up. That is not a county-commissioner scheduling text. That is two people who already know the joke.

This is the same Amber who stormed out of a livestream after a speaker called her Director Amber Kantz, the same Amber whose marriage to Chris Greene was already on life support according to sources, the same Amber who later decided Don Chambers leaked the affair (he didn’t — he was running against Kantz), and the same Amber who has spent 2026 trying to get Daisy Dale yanked off the Human Rights Commission like that would un-send the original clip.
