While Immigrant Families Aren't Being Separated by the ICE Removal of Criminal Aliens, the Families Of Americans are being Divided by This Enforcement of Laws and Other Current Issues.

American families are now fighting each other over politics at an alarming rate to create the impression of chaos, not in response to it.

Los Angeles -- Political divides between generations of Americans, especially on issues like the ICE law enforcement actions of the – previously ignored -- US immigration laws, the staged ICE protests, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, even the brutal murder of a health insurance CEO/executive while in New York City, have divided American moms and dads this fathers day from their children in some cases. Now, the “Iranian-Israel War” for the survival of Israel has created another source of tension within American families. This family division in America is the new national epidemic spreading that needs to be stopped.

Conservative parents, who may lean toward stricter immigration policies or support for Israel, might face criticism from liberal children who align with Democratic values, support Palestinian causes, or protest ICE raids. There is a greater risk of a parental alienation effect from the source of one’s news consumption. (HE aims to provide coverage you can trust, rather than making our readers choose between CNN and FOX, which provide far different coverage of the same story.)

This generational gap in American families often stems from differing worldviews—older generations may prioritize traditional values or national security, while younger ones, shaped by their progressive campus environments or their high school -- pro-teachers’ union -- teachers, emphasizing so-called “social justice,” globalism, or global human rights, rather than an “America First” agenda. For example, protests against ICE raids in Los Angeles and other cities have been driven by younger activists, often students or young adults, often college-educated liberals, who oppose Trump’s immigration policies and nearly everything he does, or seeks to do, as a matter of course.

These actions could put them at odds with conservative parents who support those policies based on recent CNN reporting.  The question for HE is: is it the chicken or the egg? That is, what is occurring first? Is this organic or orchestrated division of children from their parents? It is more than youthful idealism. Is there an agenda to alienate American family members over politics?

While in may be nothing new, is it being more orchestrated now more than ever before since the times of the Anti-Vietnam War Protests in the 1960s?  The claims of fascism and Nazi throwing around suggest that it is being orchestrated and promoted to disrupt the success of Trump and the United States of America as well as Israel. After calling everyone racists led to more black voters leaving the Democrat party for the party of Abraham Lincoln seemed to backfire on liberals, they are now seeking to divide children from their parents as was the phenomenon of the 1960s.  But this is not the 1960s; yet, some children are going down this rabbit hole and turning on their own loved ones who made their American childhoods as great as they could have at the time.

And is this a function of the abandonment of religion and religious beliefs that occurred in colleges of recent decades, too?  Christian and Jewish values that built the greatest civilization are hardly the norm and are hanging on to the hearts and minds of dying generations.  The changing demographics along with misguided youthful believes driven by fake news, holding itself out as truth is what led to a Trump’s surge and comeback, along with the fact that VP Harris was unelectable and prone to mindless, meaningless word salads.

On the antisemitism angle, the situation is nuanced. Some pro-Palestinian protests, particularly on campuses, have been labeled antisemitic by critics, including the Trump administration and figures like Marco Rubio, who’ve targeted students for deportation over alleged antisemitism or “Hamas support.” Yet, many activists, including Jewish groups, argue that criticizing Israel’s actions isn’t inherently antisemitic.

Policy can be debated clearly and should be, and nevertheless, the accusations are sometimes used to silence dissent. If liberal children are involved in these protests, they might clash with conservative parents who do view such activism as antisemitic or at least unproductive and disruptive, especially if the parents align with narratives equating pro-Palestinian stances with antisemitism as acknowledged on the Public Broadcasting System and the BBC.

In specific stories in search results detailing conservative parents being directly criticized by their children for these issues, one mother reported that her son has even texted her, “You disgust me.” While these are not isolated events, they have not been widely covered in the media until now.

“JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THE REALITY OF YOUR CHOICES: YOU AND DAD WILL NEVER NOT DIGUST ME – SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING, WELCOME TO NAZI GERMANY.”  While another got this text message: “An all-white military parade to stroke the ego of a small man.”  This is never going to foster two-way debate let alone family harmony, and where are the family therapists and the national psychology associations to address such growing aberrations.

The broader cultural and political polarization suggests that unless addressed, this kind of abuse and nonsense will be encouraged by the leftists.

CNN in its coverage simply suggests that family disagreements over politics aren’t new -- studies like those from Pew Research (pre-2025) show generational divides on immigration and foreign policy are common.

Liberal children might criticize conservative parents. Conversely, parents might see their children’s activism as naive or misguided.  While families are being divided by design, right? Divide and concur.  Today, the World Socialist website, wsws.org, stated, or overstated, “Millions Protest the US over Trump’s effort to establish a dictatorship.”

Which some children believe while their parents laugh and say, right, consider the source, and stop believing the lying socialist, communist, liberal propagandists. The problem again lies with our legal system and new like the pending federal incarceration of Gabe Whitley in Terre Haute, HE's Editor in Chief, which erodes confidence in the courts, judge, the DOJ and FBI, which are politically biased.

By now government has made everyone realize that it is corrupt to the core, and that the Fair Credit Reporting Act isn’t fair at all -- as the title of most legislation like the “Inflation Reduction Act,” more recently, was completely the opposite. No wonder nobody knows what to believe.

“Love one another all the time” came out of the 60’s and that again is the best that we can hope for, and President Donald J. Trump has said it as well, even if it is not being reported on the news your children watch. Happy Fathers Day!
