Leader of the Indianapolis Education Justice Coalition Arrested By State Police at the Indiana Tax Rally


On Monday, March 17, 2025, Christina Smith, head of the Indianapolis Education Justice Coalition, was confronted by a law enforcement officer while advocating for public education reform at a property tax reform rally held at the Indiana Statehouse. She was subsequently arrested by three state troopers.
