Indiana Has a Severe Shortage of Lawyers Outside of Indianapolis

A recent Fox News story shows the reason why Americans are disgusted with our current legal system.

While the so-called “lunatic fringe” finds it reprehensible that SCOTUS in a not-so-daring ruling found it not discriminatory (to nobody’s surprise) to exclude transgender females, who were born as biological men to compete against biological women in sports, others like the family in the Fox story can’t find a lawyer. This is not a reality only in Washington state, but here in Indiana.

In Indiana where there has always been a shortage of experienced, well-educated, qualified lawyers, the lack of access to law and courts is at at crisis level. We don’t have a shortage of courtrooms and so, it is fair to say the state’s legal system is run for the judges and not the citizens.

The current Supreme Court Members unfortunately under the troubled DEI Chief Justice Loretta Rush are responsible.

Indiana Tech Law School closed. Valparaiso University Law School shuttered and a low rated Purdue Global online school opened. But worse the cost of legal education is not supported by the income of most rural Indiana practitioners. A state where the risk of ethics attacks— punishing free speech, and causing quality students running from such an awful career as an Indiana lawyer, helping the state’s public, have led to a severe shortage in most of Indiana’s 92 counties.

Hoosiers and Families here can’t find a lawyer and it was crisis created by the same people “leaders” “supremes” who will then take credit for addressing it.

So, when you watch the Hoosiers beat Miami next Monday remember that IU Law Schools have not been good enough and their alumni have ruined the rule of law in our state. Nonetheless, hoo hoo Hoosiers!

That is RINO government at its best, or worst!
