Hoosier Enquirer Launches College Journalist Platform: Empowering Indiana's Student Voices

Hoosier Enquirer College Journalist Platform

Indianapolis, IN – January 13, 2026 – Hoosier Enquirer is proud to announce the official launch of our new College Journalist Platform, a dedicated initiative designed exclusively for college students across the Hoosier State. As an independent news media nonprofit committed to real, honest reporting without suppression or bias, Hoosier Enquirer is opening this free submission platform to students from Indiana's universities and colleges—including Indiana University, Purdue University, Ball State, Notre Dame, IUPUI, and many others. We invite young Hoosiers to share original articles covering news, events, issues, and stories happening right on their campuses. Whether it's breaking campus developments, student government updates, cultural events, academic achievements, or local issues affecting Indiana communities, we want to hear from you.We especially encourage college students of all political views to join the platform and submit their articles. Diverse perspectives strengthen our coverage and help keep Indiana truly informed.

This is a space for every voice—conservative, liberal, independent, or otherwise—to be heard through well-researched, original reporting. Every submitted article will undergo a careful screening and editorial review process to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our standards before publication. Approved pieces will be featured on hoosierenquirer.com, reaching our growing audience of engaged readers across the state. "This is about more than just publishing articles—it's about keeping young Hoosiers engaged, informed, and truly heard," said Bobby Kern, the CEO of Hoosier Enquirer. "College campuses are hubs of ideas, activism, and change. By providing this open platform, we're giving students a real opportunity to contribute to statewide conversations and build their portfolios in an independent media environment.".

The platform is completely free to use—no fees, no subscriptions, no barriers. Students simply submit their work through the dedicated submission portal at hoosierenquirer.com/college-campus-news (full guidelines and submission form available there).
