HOOSIER ENQUIRER CRUSHES THE ELITES: We Called JD Ford, Beau Bayh, Daniel Elliott, and Jessica Bailey FIRST — While CBS Decision Desk Slept

It is morning in Indiana, and the independent media just delivered a knockout punch to the old guard. While the CBS Decision Desk and the New York networks were still polishing their models and waiting for permission from their consultants, Hoosier Enquirer called the big races early, called them right, and proved once again that local guts beat coastal bureaucracy.

We projected Democrat J.D. Ford the winner in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District around 9:30 p.m. EST — nearly 20 minutes before Decision Desk HQ finally woke up. Ford ousted longtime Republican Victoria Spartz in a seat the GOP had held for decades. The numbers held. The call stood. History was made, and we wrote it first.

We called Beau Bayh for Secretary of State while the national desks were still hedging. The Bayh name is back in statewide office for the first time in years, ending a long Republican drought. Our projection went out early. The remaining ballots could not close the gap. The people spoke, and we reported it before the networks finished their first commercial break.

Daniel Elliott stayed in the Treasurer’s office. We tracked the numbers in real time as the race tightened and he held on. Jessica Bailey’s challenge for Comptroller stayed close deep into the night. We called what we saw as the votes came in — no waiting for the Associated Press to give the all-clear, no sitting on results until it was safe for the narrative.

Every seat we called was accurate. Not one miss. While the legacy media spent years slow-walking counts and “waiting for more data,” we brought the truth to Hoosiers the moment it was clear. The CBS Decision Desk does not own the scoreboard anymore. An independent outlet in Fishers and South Bend does.

Some readers are not happy with the outcomes. That is their right. Election night is not a therapy session. Our job was never to protect feelings or protect the old Republican monopoly. Our job was to call the races first and call them right. We did. The people who followed us got the facts hours ahead of the networks still stuck in their old habits.

This is what America First looks like in practice. Ronald Reagan knew a confident people do not need the elite’s approval to know the truth. We applied that lesson to election night. The old gatekeepers lost control of the narrative the moment regular Americans stopped waiting for them.

Follow Hoosier Enquirer for 2027. We called it. We were right. And the decision desks of the past are now looking at our clock.
