Great Day For Trump and DOJ -- Supreme Court Limits Nationwide Injunctions in 6–3 Ruling; Pam Bondi Says, “Americans Are Finally Getting What They Voted For”

In a landmark 6–3 decision Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruled that individual federal judges no longer have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions—orders that previously allowed a single judge to block federal policies across the entire country.

The ruling represents a major win for former President Donald Trump, whose agenda was repeatedly obstructed by sweeping injunctions issued by judges, often in just a handful of liberal jurisdictions. Between 2017 and 2021, five districts out of many, 90+, districts issued more than 35 nationwide injunctions targeting Trump-era policies. This was a form or "lawfare." Now, it is no more. "No distict court judge can behave like an emporer," US Attorney General Pam Bondi concluded.

"Americans are finally getting what they voted for," said AG Bondi. "Today’s 6–3 decision stopped lawless decisions by liberal judges in five districts who attempted to block Trump with 35 nationwide injunctions seeking to usurp executive power—no more!"

Though the decision curtails judicial overreach, it does not immediately lift the nationwide freeze on Trump’s executive order denying birthright citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants born in the U.S. The case will return to lower courts, where judges must now revise their rulings to comply with the Supreme Court’s limits on injunction scope.

Writing for the majority, Justice Amy Coney Barrett stated that court orders must be narrowed to apply only to the parties involved, affirming arguments made by both the Trump and Biden administrations that nationwide injunctions overstep judicial authority.

In a sharp dissent, Justice Sonia Sotomayor warned that the ruling opens the door for unchecked executive action: “The court’s decision is nothing less than an open invitation for the government to bypass the Constitution,” she wrote.

HE finds the dissent self-impeaching and illogical. In fact, the Constitution did not create Judicial Supremacy. Which is a trend that has eroded the respect for law and not the other way around. State Supreme Courts while not controlled by this order, can be guided by it.

In a joint press conference with AG Bondi, President Donald J. Trump (DJT) said, "Now the Constitution has been brought back." Per usual, POTUS DJT is right, which drives his haters crazy on a daily basis.

In another decision by SCOTUS, now parents in what was obvious, have the right to teach sex, that is same sex education to their children, and be exposed to such books and topics by their teachers in public education settings. Now parents can opt out, which seems a waste of court time to address or need to require this. Trump called it, "a tremendous victory for parental rights -- we've restored normalcy."
