Yvonne Metcalfe Bio: A Passionate Advocate for Education, Freedom, and Faith

ree

Yvonne Metcalfe’s life story is one of resilience, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family, community, and nation. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, she spent much of her youth moving across the country and even to the Philippines due to her father’s military career. These early years instilled in her a strong sense of responsibility and adaptability, as she often took on household duties and cared for her brother.

Growing up in a Baptist household, Yvonne was raised in a faith-centered environment where her parents were actively involved in church ministries. While she briefly stepped away from the church after high school, she later returned to her faith, rededicating her life to Christ. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to support her family and eventually remarried, raising two more children with her husband.

Yvonne's strong sense of family was tested through personal tragedy. Her son, who faced challenges in school due to undiagnosed symptoms resembling Asperger's, tragically passed away in a car accident at 21. Despite this devastating loss, Yvonne’s faith and the support of her family, particularly her daughters and extended relatives, helped her persevere.

Her journey into political activism began during the Obama administration, as she noticed increasing divisions in the country. She joined Patriot Voices and quickly became engaged in local political efforts, inspired by President Trump’s leadership and dedication to America’s values. This involvement sparked her deeper commitment to protecting the Constitution and fighting for the freedoms she holds dear.

Yvonne’s passion for education, shaped by her experience homeschooling her son, is reflected in her support for school choice, quality education, and parental rights. She believes in teaching American history truthfully and advocates for curriculum models like the 1776 Project. She is also vocal in her opposition to the introduction of gender confusion in schools.

Her advocacy extends beyond education. Yvonne is a firm supporter of law enforcement, standing against efforts to defund the police and highlighting the importance of personal responsibility when addressing gun violence. She is also an outspoken critic of government overreach, particularly concerning the executive powers exercised during the COVID-19 pandemic, which she believes caused more harm than good.

Yvonne’s personal experience as a caregiver for her parents and in-laws has made her a strong advocate for lowering taxes, particularly for seniors, and protecting local farmers. She believes in supporting Indiana’s agricultural industry while reducing unnecessary government interference in people’s lives.

As a candidate, Yvonne Metcalfe is not a career politician but an engaged citizen who believes in defending the core values that made America great. She emphasizes the importance of the Constitution, the right to life, and the freedoms that form the foundation of American society. Yvonne's experiences have shaped her vision for a stronger, more united nation, where citizens have the freedom to live, work, and worship according to their beliefs.

Her life, deeply rooted in faith, family, and patriotism, continues to inspire her to serve her community and ensure that the principles of freedom, responsibility, and opportunity remain strong for future generations.
